K-Nine Pros — AI Disclosure Policy

This AI Disclosure Policy explains, in plain language, how artificial intelligence works within the K-Nine Pros platform at kninepros.com (the “Platform”), what it can and cannot do, and what we ask of the people who use it. This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service (Document A-001), and the AI-related rules in the Acceptable Use Policy (Document P-002) apply alongside it. Where this Policy uses a capitalized term it does not define, that term has the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. The Short Version

K-Nine Pros includes AI features that help professional dog trainers run their businesses — drafting messages, summarizing information, suggesting next steps, and similar tasks. A few things are important to understand up front:

The AI assists; it does not decide. AI output is a starting point for a person to review, not a final answer.

A trainer is always in the loop. Before anything generated with AI reaches a dog owner, a trainer reviews it.

It is not professional advice. AI output is not veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice, and is never a substitute for a licensed veterinarian.

It can be wrong. AI can produce information that is inaccurate or incomplete. Always check it.

We are transparent about it. When AI is used to help produce something shown to a dog owner, that should be disclosed.

2. What the AI Features Are

2.1 The Platform includes a set of AI features, referred to as AI Agents, that generate suggestions, drafts, summaries, analyses, and similar output in response to information you provide. The AI Agents assist with tasks across categories such as client and lead management, scheduling, business insights, content drafting, training-progress notes, behavior and evaluation support, retention and revenue suggestions, program building, staff and multi-dog management, kennel operations, and workflow automation.

2.2 The number and type of AI Agents available to you depend on your subscription tier. The authoritative list of AI Agents, the tiers on which each is available, and the AI credit cost of each is set out in the Module and Agent Schedule (Document S-002), which is incorporated by reference. K-Nine Pros may add, change, or remove AI Agents over time, and the Module and Agent Schedule is the current source of truth for what is available.

2.3 The Platform also includes a support feature that uses AI to help answer questions about how to use the Platform. This feature is available to all users.

3. How the AI Features Work

3.1 Third-party AI provider. The AI Agents are powered in part by a third-party AI provider. When you use an AI Agent, the information you submit (your “inputs”) is sent to that provider to generate output, which is returned to you within the Platform. Your use of the AI features is subject to the AI provider’s usage policy, in addition to this Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.

3.2 AI credits. Use of the AI Agents is measured in AI credits. A standard AI Agent interaction uses one (1) credit, and certain advanced interactions use five (5) credits, as described in the Module and Agent Schedule. Your monthly credit allocation depends on your tier.

3.3 Your data and AI. As described in the Privacy Policy (Document P-001), K-Nine Pros uses your data to operate, secure, support, and improve the Platform. K-Nine Pros does not sell your personal information and does not use your business data to train AI models for use outside your own account, except in aggregated or de-identified form that does not identify you or any individual.

4. AI Output Is Advisory Only

4.1 AI output is advisory only and is intended to support, not replace, your own professional judgment. You are responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and confirming any AI output before you rely on it or act on it.

4.2 AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular situation. It may reflect errors or gaps in the information available to it. You should independently verify any factual statement in AI output before relying on it.

4.3 You — the professional — are the person responsible for any advice, recommendation, or content you provide to your own clients, whether or not you used an AI Agent to help produce it.

5. AI Output Is Not Professional Advice

5.1 AI output does not constitute, and is not a substitute for, professional veterinary, medical, legal, behavioral, financial, or other professional advice.

5.2 No veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created through the Platform or its AI Agents. Questions about an animal’s health, illness, injury, or medical treatment should be directed to a licensed veterinarian. For a behavior concern that presents a risk of harm — such as aggression — a qualified professional should be consulted directly.

5.3 You will not present AI output to any person as professional advice, and you will not use the AI Agents as a substitute for the services of a qualified professional.

6. Human Review and Disclosure

These two requirements — human review and AI disclosure — are required by our AI provider and apply whenever AI output reaches a dog owner or other individual.

6.1 Human review. Where AI output is used to provide advice, a recommendation, or a decision that affects a person (including a dog owner), a qualified person — you, the trainer — must review the output before it is used or shared. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of anything you provide to your clients.

6.2 AI disclosure. Where you present AI-generated output directly to a dog owner or other individual, you must disclose that you used AI to help produce the advice, recommendation, or content, at least at the beginning of each session. Any consumer-facing chatbot or interactive AI feature must disclose that the individual is interacting with AI rather than a human, at least at the beginning of each chat session.

6.3 No impersonation. You will not present AI-generated output as human-generated, or use AI output to convince a person that they are communicating with a human when they are not.

7. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, K-Nine Pros disclaims all warranties regarding the AI Agents and AI output, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The AI Agents and AI output are provided “as is.”

7.2 The disclaimers and the limitation of liability in the Terms of Service (Document A-001) and in your applicable agreement apply fully to the AI Agents and all AI output. Your use of the AI Agents and any reliance on AI output is at your own risk.

8. Acceptable Use of the AI Features

When using the AI Agents, you will not:

Use the AI Agents to generate veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional advice.

Attempt to jailbreak, prompt-inject, or circumvent the AI Agents’ safety measures, or attempt to extract, copy, scrape, or distill the underlying AI models.

Use the AI Agents to generate unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, or harmful content, including animal-cruelty content, or any content prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy or the AI provider’s usage policy.

Submit inputs that you do not have the right to submit, or that include categories of sensitive data the Platform is not designed to handle.

The full AI-related rules are set out in Section 4 of the Acceptable Use Policy (Document P-002). A violation of those rules is a breach of your agreement.

9. Changes to This Policy

9.1 K-Nine Pros may update this Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in the AI Agents or in the requirements of our AI provider. K-Nine Pros will make the current version available and will provide notice of material changes. Your continued use of the AI features after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
